Qissoh was born from the warmth of a mother’s living room, where Ustazah Rita Rahim lovingly read bedtime stories to her children. She noticed that many Islamic children’s books felt too formal or distant from a child’s everyday world. With her background in education and passion for child development, emotionally resonant, and rooted in faith — stories that stayed with children long after the last page.

Together with her husband, Ustaz Faisal Ayub, who brought deep insight from Islamic studies and community work, they built Qissoh into a trusted space for families. From a single bookshelf to thousands of homes, Qissoh continues to grow with the belief that big changes begin with small stories — and that every child deserves a narrative filled with love, warmth, and iman.
